**How Do We Begin?**
This is a process that will take time & consistency by building a core foundation. Redefining and creating new habits into becoming a cultural shift.
This affects us all and involves everyone: all departments, all disciplines, all interwoven together. *First* Initial Steps...
It is important to understand the overall concepts & build that vital foundation. Work with your team/patrol to make it your own. Identify what works well, & then adapt it to your area. Consistency creates habit/norm. Having a network & sharing with others, it opens up many ways to begin that process. Know that we are here to help! *Second* Steps...

The PNWD & NSP does not endorse any specific organization or content, the intent is to assist others of knowing there are many avenues to seek out and use what works best for them. Please know there are additional groups and agencies available for help as well. PNWD Wellness team, are not counselors, but wanting to encourage information be available to all and have a quick access to professionals when needed. Please be familiar with your area's programs that might be available to you as well, such as EAP. Your patrol may have counselors as patrollers that have agreed to assist as well. This page will remain a work in progress, we welcome suggestions, corrections which are always appreciated.
